Since 2021, the FERAL team has been dedicated to the research and development of aerodynamic downhill helmets. Our first-generation model was released in limited quantities exclusively in China for real-world riding tests and validation. After extensive feedback, structural optimization, and major upgrades in production technology, the FERAL Downhill Aerodynamic Full-Face Helmet is now ready for riders worldwide.
Designed specifically for high-speed downhill riding — featuring lower drag, a more stable aerodynamic profile, a wider field of vision, and a more precise fit, while maintaining both lightweight performance and high-level protection. Whether for daily riding, training, or competition, it helps you stay more focused, stable, and safe at speed.
Industrial Mold Production for Consistent Quality
The outer shell is produced using industrial steel molds, ensuring consistent structure and stable mass production quality. Unlike traditional aerodynamic helmets that rely heavily on handcrafted manufacturing, the FERAL helmet delivers higher forming precision, stronger structural consistency, and more reliable quality control.
5-Layer Carbon Fiber + 1-Layer Kevlar Composite Shell
The helmet shell is built with a premium composite structure:
- 5 layers of carbon fiber
- 1 layer of Kevlar
Carbon fiber provides outstanding strength and lightweight performance, while the Kevlar layer improves tear resistance and impact toughness, delivering a more reliable protective foundation for high-speed downhill environments.
Custom-Molded EPS Liner for a More Secure Fit
The EPS impact-absorbing liner is fully re-molded specifically for this helmet, rather than using a generic liner design. It is precisely matched to the helmet structure, allowing the helmet to stay more stable during high-speed riding, impacts, and vibrations. This reduces unwanted movement and enhances overall stability and safety.
Lightweight Design — Only About 900g
With a total weight of approximately 900g, the helmet balances strong protection with long-term wearing comfort, reducing neck fatigue during extended downhill sessions.
Wider Field of Vision
An optimized visor opening and lens design provides a broader field of view, making it easier to track road conditions, corners, and competitors at high speed.
Modular Fit System for 53–61cm Head Sizes
The helmet includes two interchangeable liner sets, allowing riders to adjust fit based on head shape and personal preference:
- Liner thickness: 2cm / 3.5cm
- Front chin pad thickness: 4mm / 7mm
This system supports a head circumference range of 53–61cm.
A set of modular adjustment pads is also included, allowing you to fine-tune the fit by adding padding exactly where needed.
Dual-Security Retention System
The helmet features a dual locking setup combining:
- Quick-release buckle
- Double D-ring system
This provides maximum security and reliability for high-speed downhill riding.
High-Strength Lens System
The lens is made from high-strength material designed to resist shattering upon impact.
